The Witcher Recipes
Cooking with CDProjekt RED
Or: everything you wanted to know about CDProjekt RED and Geralt’s Favorite Foods,
but were afraid to taste test...
We are in the kitchen right now...testing recipes. Or at least THINKING about those recipes. Honestly speaking, the foods offered in the Witcher Inns, Taverns, and Dive Bars are a little scary.
I mean, Grandma’s Pickles and Lard???? You have GOT to be kidding me on this one. Ewwwwwww. Only a mutant can eat this and live. Or someone who is really seriously drunk. I’ll let you know what it is like, once I scrounge up a recipe for THAT.
Fortunately, the developers at CDProjekt RED were willing to share their recipes. Which gave me a clear understanding of why they gave such tender and loving attention to the selection of imbibables throughout Geralt’s stomping grounds.
"The Day Starter" Dish
What you need:
- A bottle of vodka (chilled)
- A glass (200 ml)
- 1 Pickled cucumber (left over from last night's raid on Grandma’s Kitchen Cupboards)
- 1 slice of Polish sausage (Grease absorbs the effects of the previous night's adventures)
Serving Suggestion:
Pour vodka into glass until full, drink up, take a bite of cucumber and sausage, smile. :)
You’re now ready to start the day!
